Ils ne reviendront jamais. En rêve sans doute. Ils se souviendront qu’existe quelque part le paradis de Luang Prabang. Partout dans le monde, les survivants éparpillés, à la tombée du jour, chaque soir, ceux là qui ont connu Luang Prabang, répéteront à voix basse le nom de la ville, sauront que d’autres sont ce soir à Luang Prabang, voient les forêts sur les collines bleues qui se couvrent de brume, se teintent de rose, pendant que le fleuve et les pagode s’embrasent, se vêtent d’or et de pourpre, de vert bronze…
